Clinical Genomes Scotland Meeting

The Clinical Genomes Scotland meeting will:

  • Discuss recent developments in genome sequencing technology and its implementation in healthcare.
  • Establish how genome-based testing can support patient care, such as during pregnancy in patients at risk of having children with severe genetic conditions, and to assist healthcare providers in making the best treatment decisions for patients with cancer.
  • Review the development and long-term use of genomic data and IT systems to support effective implementation of genome technologies in healthcare.
  • Consider how to maximise the use of innovation pathways in genome technology and information for R&D within universities, the pharmaceutical industry, and by healthcare providers.
