10th UK & Ireland Early Career Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) Symposium

The UK & Ireland Early Career Blood-Brain Barrier Symposium has been running since 2011 and is held on a yearly basis. This provides an opportunity for early career researchers to present their research on the barriers of the CNS in the form of a platform talk or posters and to encourage networking between BBB researchers.

This year's symposium is also a joint meeting with the UK Dementia Research Institute (DRI), with a satellite meeting on the 22nd of November for DRI members. There will be talks and poster presentations delivered by early career researchers studying the BBB from around the UK & Ireland. 

Abstracts are currently being invited.

Keynote speakers: Professor David Atwell (University College London), Professor Britta Engelhardt (University of Bern), Dr Catherine Hall (University of Sussex) and Dr Michael Thrippleton (University of Edinburgh).
