BioQuarter Postdoc Society event: "Dealing with failure in academic science"

We often hear more about exceptional or ideal research career paths and less about the journey to get there. This oversight might cause us to forget a key component that contributes to their success: failure! Join this activity to discuss failed experiments and rejected grants. There will be a round table of PIs who have dealt with many 'Nos' before hearing a 'Yes', and at the end, Canine Concern Scotland Trust will be there to let you pet their dogs!

• Tuesday 16th April 2024, 1pm - 4pm
• Please secure your free place as there are limited spots available. This programme is mainly aimed for postdocs.
• Attendees are strongly encourage you to send ahead one image of anything that you think can be celebrated during this event. It could be a failed experiment, a graph showing the opposite of what you expected, chapters that were not published anywhere, or anything creative!
