Young PI Symposium 2026

Three keynote speakers will address the central themes of this symposium:

- Dr. Noelia Anton-Bolaños (UMCU) on resilience in research and strategic building of scientific programs,

- Dr. Anne Schreiter,  Executive Director of the German Scholars Organization, on leadership and its peculiarities in academia,

- Prof. Dr. Tomás Ryan (Trinity College Dublin), Chair of the FENS Advocacy Committee, on the importance of science advocacy.

There will be workshop-style sessions on:

- developing resilient research programs,

- grant writing,

- science communications and advocacy,

- implementing equality, diversity and inclusion practices in the lab,

- establishing collaborative consortia and

- research team dynamics.
