The BHF REA4 Translational Research Awards provide seed funding to encourage the translation of fundamental research into innovative technologies and solutions that have the potential to deliver patient benefit.

The BHF REA4 Translational Research Awards provide seed funding to encourage the translation of fundamental research into innovative technologies and solutions that have the potential to deliver patient benefit. Applications are open to all University of Edinburgh research staff, provided your project has clear links to the REA4 themes listed below. 

The REA4 themes are:

  • Heart Diseases
  • Stroke and Vascular Dementia
  • Cardiometabolism
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging
  • Data-Driven Innovation

 

Awards of up to £30k are available for projects with a duration of 6 to 12 months.
