Based at the University of Cambridge, Dr Maura Malpetti is looking for an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join her group at the Centre for Frontotemporal Dementia at the Cambridge University Department of Clinical Neurosciences. The post is part of a Race Against Dementia funded program to investigate inflammation in frontotemporal dementia and accelerate the development of treatments for dementia. To this end, we initiated a UK-wide Open Network for Frontotemporal dementia Inflammation Research (ON-FIRE), which involves data collection from over 40 sites across the UK. The study includes patient-based projects that combine fluid markers with clinical records, background information, advanced brain imaging and neuropsychological tests.
