Survey results Key priority Research cultures in their many forms are a major priority for Edinburgh Neuroscience. We wished to understand more about the research culture and ‘Open Science’ practices in the Edinburgh Neuroscience community so that we could identify areas and topics on which we should focus our efforts, for example topics to cover during Edinburgh Neuroscience Afternoons. Research Culture Survey We conducted an online survey during November and December 2025 and invited everyone in the Edinburgh Neuroscience community to fill this in. We are very grateful to all 87 colleagues who did! The survey also included several free-text questions and many respondents took the time to provide detailed answers. A thematic analysis was conducted and carefully checked against the source material to ensure the report was accurate and representative.
