My research at INCR focuses on understanding how the heterogeneous activity of single cells results in a coherent population output, using neuroendocrine systems as models.
Through several national and international collaborations, I have been looking at the study of heterogeneous cellular behaviour in many different systems, using modern single-cell multi-omics methods, as well as bulk sequencing in conjunction with machine learning methods.
I am also particularly interested in science reproducibility and accessibility; I have been developing dashboards to allow rapid, programming-free, exploration of experimental results, for research and educational purposes and have been involved in several studies aiming at improving reproducibility in research.
