We are delighted to congratulate Prof Tara Spires Jones on being elected the President-Elect of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS)! The news was announced during the FENS meeting in Barcelona on 10 July. Prof Spires-Jones will be President-Elect July 2026-2028, President July 2028-2030, and Past-President July 2030-2032. Prof Spires-Jones is Director of the Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences at the Institute for Neuroscience and Cardiovascular Research. Her research focuses on Alzheimer’s disease and other degenerative brain diseases.In her role, Professor Spires-Jones will support FENS members across 33 European countries, seeking to understand the nervous system and find ways to prevent and treat neurological and psychiatric disorders.Congratulations Tara!
